Hi, Patti. I just wanted to thank you for your willingness to step out in faith and serve the Living God. Your visit last night was wonderful, and had a tremendous impact on my daughter, and I am sure on the other girls as well. I literally watched my daughter praise God and cry tears of joy because of your visit and the conversation that we had after everyone had left. It was an amazing thing, and a confirmation of words that I believed God had spoken to me about a month ago. As I prayed about how to raise my children, God impressed upon my heart that a Christian worldview is not formed by only being exposed to good, Christian ideas and experiences. It is instead formed by learning how to respond to those things that are not good and don’t fit within the Christian life. And then He said this, “Without seeing some of the darkness of the world, they cannot appreciate my Brightness.” And I knew that it was Truth in my heart, but last night I got to see it in action!
